Role Description The Software Engineering Intern role at JobBricks is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software components that support JobBricks’ platform and internal tools. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, contributing to back-end web development, debugging and testing features, and collaborating with senior engineers on technical implementations. The intern will participate in code reviews, document technical work, and learn best practices in software engineering and version control. This role provides hands-on experience in building scalable solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and basic software engineering principles.
Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in real-world projects.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to learn quickly, take feedback constructively, and work effectively in a team-based environment.
Good problem-solving skills and clear written and verbal communication.
