The Role
You will own the product for two to three of our SaaS and marketplace products at a time. You will set the roadmap, own the backlog, and make sure every release moves the products core metrics. Product assignments change as the portfolio grows, so you will work across different users, business models, and markets. You will be the single point of accountability for what gets built and why.
What You Will Do
- - Roadmap: Own the product vision and quarterly roadmap for each assigned product, aligned with leadership on priorities and outcomes.
- - Backlog: Write epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Prioritize by user value, revenue impact, and dependency, and keep the backlog groomed at least two sprints ahead.
- - Sprint cadence: Run sprint planning, reviews, and release planning with engineering, balancing your time and team capacity across multiple products.
- - Marketplace design: For marketplace products, design both sides of the market, including supply onboarding, demand acquisition, matching, trust and quality, and payments.
- - SaaS growth: For SaaS products, drive activation, retention, and expansion through onboarding flows, feature adoption, and packaging input.
- - AI features: Shape AI capabilities such as adaptive learning, candidate scoring, AI avatar interviews, and speech analytics, working with engineers on what is feasible and how to measure it.
- - Metrics: Define and track each products key metrics, including activation, retention, conversion, churn, MRR, and marketplace liquidity, and report progress to leadership every month.
- - User insight: Run user interviews, review feedback and usage data, and turn findings into backlog priorities.
- - Acceptance and release: Accept stories against their criteria, own release notes, and support marketing and product account managers with launches and demos.
What You Bring
- 4 to 7 years in software products, with at least 2 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager on SaaS or marketplace products.
- Experience owning more than one product, or a multi-module platform, at the same time.
- Strong user story and acceptance criteria writing, and a working command of Agile and Scrum.
- A metrics-driven approach, with hands-on use of product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.
- Enough technical depth to discuss APIs, data models, and integrations with engineers.
- Experience building products for US or global users.
- Clear, confident spoken and written English.
Nice to Have
- Two-sided marketplace experience.
- Domain experience in edtech, HR tech and recruitment, contact center and BPO, language services, or entertainment.
- Experience shipping AI or LLM-powered features.
- CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent certification.
- Wireframing in Figma or similar tools.
Your First 30 Days
You will learn the full product portfolio, take ownership of the backlogs for your assigned products, and present a 90-day roadmap for each to leadership.
